These are Our Student-Athletes
The student-athletes who compete for Colorado State University dedicate themselves to their education, their sport, and to their community. Our coaches devote great amounts of time recruiting those who display not only the athletic ability to compete at the highest levels, but those who will serve as exceptional members of our community. The figures displayed to the right help to illustrate the type of quality individuals we are able to attract to our institution.
Being a collegiate athlete requires vast amounts of time and energy, and it is absolutely necessary that we provide scholarship assistance to these individuals. Doing so eases the financial burden inherent in attending an elite university and helps to attract top recruits to our campus. Tuition costs rise each year, and through outright gifts, matching gifts, and scholarship endowment, CSU Athletics is able to keep pace with the other institutions within the Mountain West Conference and the rest of the nation.
Please take a moment to recognize our student-athletes who earned Mountain West Conference All-American status in the Spring of 2009. These students have maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and are significant contributors to their respective teams.
